About Me

Hi! My name is Paisley and I am a writer and developmental editor. I currently write articles on race, disability, parenthood and true crime, and I am working on two books Perditus and The Haunting in Arran House. I studied copyediting, editing a fiction novel through the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading. I have also taken a developmental editing report course which added points to my CIEP qualifications. Not only do I love writing, I love editing other people’s books and helping to bring out the best of the world they’ve spent months, maybe years, working on and trying to perfect.

As a writer, I understand how important stories are to their authors and to some, they are their book babies. With this in mind, I view each book I work on as my book niece or nephew. I want them to stay authentic while being the best version they could be.

I also know how imposter syndrome can bring authors down and prevent them from writing. I won’t just dote on your book, I’ll also highlight your strengths and help you build on your weaknesses. I will be cheerleader and work with you until your book is publishing ready!

That means each service is a fixed price for unlimited edits!

If you are still unsure on if we will work well together, have a look at my testimonial page and see what some of the writers I have worked with so far have said.
